Not surprisingly we love technology of all stripes and varieties - from a big old spinning disk drives on a raised floor to specially doped silicon that delivers Gallium performance in a CMOS power envelope to new processor technologies to web software architectures and tools.  (You get the drift!)

Our deepest expertise is in software although it extends across a broad spectrum of science and technologies thanks to our diverse interests and a strong network of research partners.    We aim our research what works in practice as opposed to theory.  Technology gets interesting in applied situations.  It's the intersection of pure technology and real business that excites the most; the interface between function and use. 

To bring our research to a point we approach everything with an investment perspective in mind. Applying a rigorous approach to business models, return on invested capital and valuation we are able to align our technology research with investment opportunities.  Essentially these situations are where our flow reaches its peak.

Thankfully we love to write, model and make investments as much as we enjoy doing the original research work.  The result is a fairly steady stream of technology segment and company intelligence that we make available to our clients and subscribers.
