We're all about applied emerging technology research. Our universe includes information technology, applications in resources (energy and water) and biology.
Although steeped in science and innovation we are focused on business ramifications and investment conclusions. As such our work is useful for early stage companies and venture capitalists all the way to public company management teams and institutional investors.
Our general timeframe is two to four years ahead recognizing that near term results and current valuations absolutely do matter. Our goal is to exploit short term movements in the context of a long term view.
Core Research 2.0 clients are part of a working group that interacts with us and our research regularly to help shape decisions. As such we are limited to a very small number of core clients and further restrict acess by type (company, venture capitalist, institutional investor.)
Our published product is also available more conventionally via either annual paid subscription or by individual report.
We are heavy users of the two-way medium of the web and the hive concept of sharing information. We maintain two active blogs: Research 2.0 focuses mainly on IT while the Creative Destruction Fund looks at a broader range of disruptive technology topics from the perspective of a thoughtful portfolio manager.
We hope that if our work sounds interesting to you that you will join us in some way to find things that may resonate with you.
